Not necessarily but a quick telephone call will ensure that one of our qualified opticians is available to attend you at the time you plan to call in.

Again, not always but we do like to fit new spectacles properly before you take them.

Every 2 years unless advised to come back sooner by the Optometrist.

Who is entitled to help towards the cost of their spectacles?

If you fall into one of the following catergories-

Receiving:

-Income Support

-Pension Credit guarantee credit

-Income based Jobseekers Allowance

-Tax credit and named on a valid NHS Tax Credit Exemption Certificate

 

-You have a HC2 certificate

-Aged under 16

-Aged 16,17,18 and in full time education

What is the best age to get my children's eyes checked?

At any age if you have concerns about their eyes or a family history of ocular problems.

Otherwise routinely from about 4 years old, before they start school.
